City & Guilds level 1 introduction to the Hair and Beauty Sector:
In our Head Start Training Salon, you will learn a variety of skills in Hair Care, Styling and Beauty skills.
This course is an ideal starting point to learn the basic skills and knowledge that will enable you to progress into further education or into employment opportunities.
What you will be doing (Hair & Beauty Sector):
Shampoo and Conditioning
Styling women’s hair
Manicure and Nail Art
Colour hair
Make-up and the art of photographic Make-Up
Salon reception duties
City & Guilds Personal and Social Development:
Work as a group and individually to gain important work and life skills that will help you move forward and achieve your potential.
What you will be doing (Personal & Social Development):
Learning how to deal with problems in daily life.
How to manage your own money.
Individual rights and responsibilities
Preparation for work, create a CV, college and job applications, interview techniques
Working towards goals
